Justin Woon

Justin started his music journey in high school playing the bass and drums, today he runs Technophile in Toronto. Hailing from Singapore and having lived in Australia, he is familiar with electronic scenes far and wide with a sound best described as driving, yet groovy, drawing inspiration from his travels. 

 

His DJing has taken him to festival stages like Electric Island, warehouse parties at Entourage Fest, Miami Music Week and supporting International talent in Toronto by the likes of Essel, Umek, Nico Moreno, Chus, Alignment, Danny Avila and Somewhen to name a few. ​

A proud nerd, he prides himself on knowing the ins and outs of his equipment and is Technophile's head DJ coach.

Well versed in both Ableton and Logic, his productions have reached 1 and 2 on Beatport charts with Original Label in Miami. Focusing now on his hard house duo alias VENN, be sure to watch out for their releases in the near future.
